The Attitude of Gratitude

https://khushbooazad.wordpress.com/2014/05/14/the-attitude-of-gratitude/

Hey there! Yes you. How are you doing?

“I am fine. Thank you!”, I am sure this is your favorite reply.

So are you really fine? Are you really happy about everything around you?

I guess no. We humans have a tendency of complaining all the time. “Oh, I don’t have that house. I want that car. My job….it sucks! The grass is greener on the other side of the fence.”

WOW!!!

Have you ever noticed how much you complain everyday? And by the way, how many times in a day do you feel grateful about something?  Do you feel grateful about being healthy and alive? Do you feel lucky to have a home and a family? Maybe your job sucks, but do you feel happy to have one?

Do you really feel thankful for all this. Not even once, right?  Just because we are blessed with all this from the beginning, we tend to forget their importance. We forget that having a family is far better than being all alone in this world. Having a sucking job is far better than begging on the street. Having a small house is any day better than being homeless.

I know what you’ll say now. You’ll say,”what about being ambitious?”

Oh, right! Being ambitious is “awesome”. I feel everyone should be ambitious. Even I am ambitious. Here I am not asking you to give up on your ambitions. Be ambitious, work hard but never forget to thank God for all you already have.

If you look closely you are among some of the lucky people, who have a lot to be thankful about. Lets talk about just this moment. Be thankful you have electricity, you have a computer, an internet connection, be thankful that you can read and above all, be thankful that you can see. Yes, you never consider but there are people who can’t see and you are lucky to have those beautiful and expressive eyes. Now you see, how lucky you are.

Having an attitude of gratitude is a great virtue. It can make your life beautiful, beyond imagination. Only when you are happy, you can attract better things in your life.

Today I’ll give you a little SECRET to stay happy and get more in life.

Every morning when you get up, just thank God or Universe or your Higher Self (wherever your faith lies) for all you have. Thank for the lovely morning, for an another day of your life, for your job, for your breakfast…..etc,etc. Make sure while thanking you really feel grateful and happy about those things. Just do this and within a month, you’ll see the magic.

Not only you’ll be happier but also you’ll start achieving everything you ever wanted.

Show gratitude and the Universe will give you even more to be grateful about…it always works! 😉

Have you ever tried this Secret? What were your experiences? Do share.

  1. That’s such a great way to start off with a new fresh day!

As aptly brought out by you, there is a difference between cribbing out things we don’t have and being ambitious – the latter requires us to fight for all that we aspire for, not cry about not having it.

If we love something and want it to be a part of our life then there is no point crying about it, rather one should just go get it! No matter what it takes to do so.

YOLO(You only live once) is something which we should remember whenever there is a doubt in our mind to take any decision. Accepting compromises in life is just not the way God want us to live, rather, He wants us to go out there and give everything we have, for our ambition! Rest all, he will take care 🙂

So, thank God for everything he has given us, be grateful for all the good things which are the part of our life…. for all other things we don’t like, don’t cry – rather – go out there and TRY!!!

A very nice post and something which everyone should read and apply in his life!!

    Kudos 🙂 🙂 🙂

  3. Liked the way you expressed the importance of gratitude, which seems to be fading away in our day to day life. Well done. Kudos. Now following your blog, keep writing.
